💀 I Have Been DYING to Share This With You
Last week I hosted my first live EFT tapping workshop — the May Money Date — and I genuinely have not stopped thinking about it since!
We started the session with saying things like “money has always been a struggle for me” and “I don’t believe it gets to be easy” and “I’m exhausted from working this hard and having nothing to show for it.”
Eyes closed. Jaws tight. Some people couldn’t even say “money flows to me easily” out loud without their body physically resisting it.
60 minutes later those same people were standing in their living rooms with their arms wide open, palms up, chest open, eyes closed — literally just RECEIVING.
Not performing it. Not forcing it. Being it.
Some of them crying - not sad crying. The kind of crying where something you’ve been carrying for 20 years just left your body and you can feel the space where it used to be.
That’s the shift.
From clenched fists to open palms.
From “money is a fight” to “what if I just... let it in.”
In one session. On a Tuesday.
The energy in that room. The shifts people felt. The DMs I got the next day and the next day and the next day. Something happened that reminded me exactly why I do this work — and why I came back to tapping after walking away from it for over a year.

That’s the opening of the session. The part most people skip in manifestation work — the part where we go into the hard stuff instead of slapping a positive affirmation on top of it and hoping for the best.

“Money has to be hard-earned. That’s what I was taught watching our parents grind, watching them come home tired, watching them argue about bills.”
“The hustle is my proof. The exhaustion is my receipt.”
“The thought of money coming easily actually makes me uncomfortable. Like suspicious. Like it feels lazy. Like cheating.”
If any of that made your chest tight or your eyes sting or your brain go “oh... shit” — that’s not you being dramatic. That’s your nervous system recognizing a belief it’s been carrying. Probably since before you had a bank account.
Here’s the thing I’ve learned from doing this work on myself and with clients: the belief that money has to be hard isn’t just a thought. It’s an IDENTITY.
“Look how hard I work” is how we prove we deserve what we have. The grind is the badge. The exhaustion is the evidence. And if someone takes that away — if money just... flows in without the suffering — then who are we? What was all that effort for? And what are people going to think?
That’s not a mindset problem.
That’s a nervous system holding onto an identity for dear life because the alternative feels like standing naked in Times Square.
Which, as a New Yorker, I can confirm is not a comfortable feeling even in theory. 🗽
