đ§ The reason you can't relax even when everything's actually going well (Already HER Day 16)
15 min EFT Tap on your "unshakeable okayness"
This limiting belief came to the surface today during my EFT TapâŠ..
âI was never actually okay. I was just temporarily-not-yet-threatened.â
Thereâs a difference.
Let me show you what I mean, because it literally happened to me yesterday.
Iâm out visiting my parents right now, in a place that makes me genuinely happy. And yesterday morning I went to the gym, got a great workout, and I pulled out of the parking lot just feeling GOOD. Sun out, body feeling strong, that little âtodayâs going to be a great dayâ lift in my chest.
And immediately, and I mean instantly, a thought landed: well, that wonât last. Donât get used to that. And right behind the thought came the feeling, that specific drop in my gut, like something bad is around the corner. Donât get too comfortable. The other shoeâs about to drop, and itâs going to hit you in the face and probably give you a black eye.
I caught it. Right there in the car. And I went, whoa. Absolutely not. We are not doing that.
So I pulled my hand up and started tapping, driving the ten minutes home, just talking it out loud to myself. This feeling that just came up. This thing in my gut that says donât get comfortable, donât get your hopes up, youâll jinx it, somethingâs always about to go wrong and pull you back down from this temporary high. I tapped on all of it. Acknowledged it, released it, and tapped in the truth: Iâm allowed to have a good day. Iâm allowed to stay up here. Nothing has to come knock me down.
But hereâs what I want you to notice about that whole moment. My okayness, in the good version, was already braced for its own removal. I wasnât just happy. I was happy AND scanning for the thing that would take the happy away. Which means I was never fully okay. I was okay IF it lasted. And some part of me was certain it wouldnât.
the pattern under that moment
I thought I was an anxious person.
Turns out I was a person whose okayness was completely outsourced to my circumstances.
I was okay IF the money was good.
Okay IF the relationship was solid.
Okay IF the launch worked,
IF nobody was upset with me,
IF the number went up instead of down.
My peace was always on loan, always conditional, always one bad piece of news away from getting repossessed.
Which is why I couldnât relax even when everything was fine. Because some part of me knew my okayness wasnât really mine. It belonged to my circumstances, and circumstances change. So even in the good moments, driving out of a gym parking lot on a beautiful morning, I was scanning. Braced. Waiting for the thing that would come take my okay away.
If youâve ever wondered why you canât just enjoy it when life is good, this is why. Your okayness is borrowed. And you can feel that it could be called back at any time.
the fear underneath every other fear
When you really trace it down, almost every fear you have is the same fear wearing different outfits.
Afraid of losing the money.
Afraid of the relationship ending.
Afraid of the business failing, the rejection, the worst-case-scenario.
But under all of those, the actual fear isnât the event.
Itâs: if that happens, I wonât be okay. Thatâs the real one. Thatâs the thing your nervous system is bracing against. Not the loss itself, but the belief that the loss would take you out. That you wouldnât survive it. That your okayness would go down with the ship.
So you grip. You control. You brace. You keep one eye on the exit of every good thing, because if your okay depends on the good thing staying, then of course youâre terrified of it leaving.
But the gripping doesnât even work. Bracing for the bad thing doesnât soften it if it comes, and it robs you blind of the good time in the meantime. You pay twice and get nothing for it.
what the unshakeable woman actually knows
Hereâs her secret, and itâs not that bad things donât happen to her. They do. Life comes for everybody.
Her secret is that she moved the source of her okayness from the outside to the inside. Her okay doesnât depend on things going well anymore. Itâs not on loan from her circumstances. Itâs a decision she made and a place she lives from, no matter whatâs happening around her.
So when the hard thing comes, and it does, she doesnât shatter. Sheâs shaken, sure, sheâs human. But sheâs still standing on her own ground, because her ground was never made of circumstances in the first place.
She knows, all the way down in her body, âwhatever happens, I will be okay. Iâve got me. I always will.â
And that one thing changes everything, including how big sheâs willing to live. Because when your okayness stops depending on the outcome, you can finally go for the big scary thing. You can take the risk, send the pitch, make the leap, love all the way, want out loud, because the worst case isnât âI wonât survive itâ anymore. The worst case is just âthat didnât work, and Iâm still okay.â The security to have it all comes from knowing youâd be okay without any of it.
Thatâs the paradox at the heart of today. The most expansive, magnetic, go-for-everything woman is the one whoâs decided sheâs fine either way.
and THEN you get to choose your energy
Hereâs the part that makes this fun instead of just stoic.
Once your okayness is unconditional, once itâs the solid ground under everything, youâre not white-knuckling for survival anymore. Which means you get to actually CHOOSE what you grow in that ground. From a place of âIâm okay no matter what,â you get to deliberately align with whatever energy you want. Peace, if thatâs what youâre craving. Or love. Or fun. Or joy, fulfillment, softness, nourishment, play, delight. Whateverâs calling you.
The unconditional okayness is the soil. The energy you choose is what you plant in it. And things grow so much better in ground that isnât shaking.
đ§ The Expansion Tap:
Nothing Can Shake Me, Iâm So Deeply Okay â 15 min
Hereâs everything waiting on the other side:
How to actually move your okayness from the outside in at the nervous-system level, so it stops depending on your circumstances and becomes something no one can repossess.
Why âjust be calmâ never works and what does, the real reason you canât think your way into feeling safe.
The all-day practice for coming back to your unconditional okay in the moments that try to knock you over, plus a physical anchor you can use anywhere.
Your Day 16 expansion tap â a brand new kind of tap where we donât dig, we rise. We root into the deep okayness thatâs already in you, send back everyone elseâs chaos youâve been carrying, and expand into the giddy, magical, deeply-safe feeling of a woman nothing can shake, who then gets to choose exactly which energy she wants to live in.
You walk away from this one rooted, expanded, and genuinely delighted. Thatâs the whole point of this kind of tap.
This is the room where your okayness stops being on loan and finally becomes yours. [come get unshakeable with me] đ€
